I'm proud to have been able to work with my friend JAMES FEE in the weeks prior to his death to complete the creation of an edition of digital fine art prints of his final body of work. These prints, enlarged versions of his brilliantly crafted one-of-a-kind silver/alternative process prints, were James' embracing of digital printing as a means to enlarge and expand the impact of his work. They represent a notable addition to his art and vision.

The prints were presented in a tribute at the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego, and are shown and represented by James' Los Angeles gallerist Craig Krull at the Craig Krull Gallery in Santa Monica.

I am honored by James' choice to work with TDA to interpret his images. A dedicated film and darkroom artist, this method was a significant departure for him, having resisted the digital evolution of his medium right up until this last body of work.

I am pleased that I was able to make this small contribution to his vision and to his legacy.
